Phases of the embryo adoption

What is embryo adoption?

It is a treatment in which we transfer embryos donated by another woman or partner to the recipient woman. The donated embryos come from those who have already completed their reproductive desire but have surplus vitrified embryos, the result of previous Assisted Reproduction treatments. These embryos, according to current legislation, can be donated to other women or couples, giving them the possibility of having a child.

Who is it suitable for?

  • When simpler reproductive treatment is desired.

  • When other reproductive treatments have failed.

  • In cases of premature ovarian failure, menopause or when there is no response to ovarian stimulation.

  • When for ethical reasons you want to adopt, but you want to enjoy pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding.

  • It is also an option for women without a male partner or with a same-sex partner.
